11 months

Dirty crag baby in West Virginia

One day shy of 11 months old his first tooth appeared.

One day over 11 months old and he just said 'Mama' for the first time.
(Ball, Papa, Booby and Dog came before this, with Papa as the favorite.)

He is such a joy.

Accipiter sp. - Had a gray back, was stalking feeder birds in our neighbor's back yard! Could be a Cooper's or Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Close-encounter Accipiter out our back door: Cooper's Hawk. This one looked like a juvenile. It had different coloration from the first Accipiter I saw.
